Why pets are so important?

Pets are an important part for most of the people all around the world. Some people buy them for themselves, other for their children and some even try to make money out of breeding pets at home.

But why are pets so popular and important? Of course in most cases pets are good friends and most people choose to buy pets that are able to communicate with people. For some of us pets help avoid loneliness and are great buddies for those who lack communication with other people. Also they help people who have communication problems because they help to learn how to care about others and have a more emotional communication. Some psychologists recommend pets for those who want to have a child because a pet needs a responsible approach (you have to care about them – feed them, clean them and even spend time with them).

Also if you have a family pets help you teach your kids to care about other creatures and people as well and help them be more responsible. Also pets help us make our lives and homes more close to nature as nowadays more and more people forget what it’s like and it definitely has its impact on us and on our children. Somehow pets become a reminder of the distant past where we were much closer to nature and animals.

Cats – Ruling the World before the Time Humankind Can Remember Itself

Did you happen to know that a lot of political leaders have had cats? Even Abraham Lincoln had a cat named Tabby, who was the first cat to live in the White House. Moreover, President Lincoln has had a total of 4 cats, while living in the White House.

It is amazing how these little creatures have made it to the top of our lives, literally. Not just commoners own cats, but the powers that be own cats as well. The most surprising thing is that cats are always treated like royalties.

For example, Cardinal Richelieu loved cats so much that he had a total of 14 cats at his home. As you can assume, the Cardinal was a pretty busy person, dealing with religion and politics of France. Thus, he had appointed special servants, who would care for them. Moreover, upon his death, Richelieu left all his wealth to his cattish companions. One of the most significant political figures of France of the 17th century was completely conquered with cats and gave them everything he had! This is truly striking.

This is just a thing to think about. It is so ridiculous to see the rulers of this world fighting for power and money and then leaving it all to cats, or dogs, or whatever pets they own that you can’t say for sure if they are the true rulers.
